How do I know if I therapy is right for me?
I strongly believe that everyone can benefit from therapy.

Whether you're facing a specific challenge, dealing with long-standing issues you'd like to share without fear of judgment, experiencing overwhelming emotions, or feeling numb, therapy can provide valuable support.

Therapy can also enhance your relationships with friends, family, and colleagues by boosting your self-esteem and helping you establish healthier boundaries. Additionally, it offers insights into why you act or react in certain ways, increasing your awareness of your thoughts and feelings.
How long is each therapy session?
Each session is 50 minutes long
Do you offer block bookings or discounts?
Yes. You can find the block booking form here.
I offer the 7th session free when sessions are booked in advance.
What are your fees and do you accept insurance?
Payments need to be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Pricing:
In-person sessions (50 mins) - £60
Online sessions (50 mins) - £50

Unfortunately, I cannot accept insurance.
Do you offer discounted sessions?
Yes, I can offer sessions to those on low income, students and OAPs at a reduced rate.

The initial session will be £60 for an in-person session of £50 for an online session - the ongoing costs of sessions can be discussed during this.
How do I book an appointment?
You can either book a full session or a free 15-minute phone call online via this website here.

The payment for the session will need to be made in advance to secure the booking.
What should I expect during my first session?
The first session will last 50 minutes.

This initial meeting is an opportunity for you to share more about yourself, including why you’ve decided to start therapy now, what you hope to achieve, and your expectations. I’ll also ask about your background and your goals moving forward.

We’ll discuss how our therapeutic relationship will work, covering important topics such as confidentiality, session timing, and payment.

If necessary, this initial session may be spread over two or three meetings to ensure everything is thoroughly covered and to help you decide if I am the right therapist for you.
What happens if I need to cancel an appointment?
When you begin counselling, we establish a regular weekly commitment. This means that if you miss a session, I won’t be able to offer that time to anyone else.

In such cases, I ask that you pay the fee for the missed session to cover the costs incurred.

I require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for non-attendance. We can attempt to reschedule within the same week if it suits both of us. However, if no suitable alternative is found, the session fee will still apply.

If I am unavailable or need to cancel a session, you will not be charged.
Can I trust you?
Trust is essential in any relationship, especially a therapeutic one.

I want to assure you that I have completed four years of core training, and I am committed to ongoing professional development each year to ensure I serve my clients' best interests.
